So this bird out back was making quite the chirpy racket, and when I checked it was this female downy woodpecker. She'd get some seeds from the feeder, chirphing up a storm, and then fly off. Over and over. So I put the suet back up and she started taking that instead, but no longer so chirpy. I think she was angry that there was no suet. She also brought over a young male whom she was feeding the suet to. #birdsofinstagram
